After a couple of years of social distancing, the European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care are looking forward to seeing each other face to face again at the 19th annual European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Congress from 2-4 June 2022 in Ghent, Belgium.

We couldn’t think of a better place to reconnect with each other than in the city of Ghent, one of Europe’s best hidden secrets. It offer a combination of the history offered by Bruges and the vibrant livelihood of Antwerp.

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, the European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society and the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, we would love to invite you to the 19th annual European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Congress in Ghent, Belgium.

The congress will offer parallel streams for veterinarians oriented towards emergency and critical care (advanced), general practitioners seeking applicable information for their clinics (refresher) and a stream focused on veterinary nurses. Delegates can freely move from stream to stream, in order to take the most out of the event. Moreover, during the congress several wet- and dry labs will be organized on different topics such as resuscitation or point of care ultrasound. This should allow each delegate to return home feeling energized and enlightened with up to date knowledge and practical training in veterinary emergency and critical care.
